Behind the StoryStream technology and innovation is a team of people who make it all possible, and today, we’re incredibly proud to share that we’ve officially been certified as a Great Place to Work® for 2025!
This certification is based entirely on what our employees say about their experience, and this year’s results are the strongest we’ve ever seen.
Progress That Speaks Volumes: 2023 vs 2025
We’ve made measurable improvements across the board, and we’re sharing the highlights to reflect just how far we’ve come.
Overall Satisfaction
- 94% overall satisfaction in 2025, up from 87% in 2023
- Average score across all statements rose to 92%, up from 88%
- Perceptions of fair pay have increased by nearly 20 percentage points
This 7-point jump in overall satisfaction is a testament to how our team continues to grow stronger, more connected, and more engaged.
Gender-Based Improvements
And we were especially proud to see a 100% satisfaction score among women at StoryStream, a powerful sign that our commitment to inclusivity and wellbeing is having a real impact.

Values in Action
Our culture is shaped by the values we live every day:
💛 People First – The wellbeing of our team and their loved ones comes first, whether that’s flexible working, mental health support, or bringing your whole self to work
💪 Own It – Everyone is empowered to step up and make great things happen
🙌 Above & Beyond – We go further to support our customers and each other
These aren’t just phrases on a wall, they’re reflected in how we show up, how we support one another, and how we build the future of StoryStream together. Through our #storystream-values channel in Slack, people share shoutouts and moments of appreciation daily, whether it’s a “thank you” for jumping in on a deadline, a team smashing a launch, or someone just spreading positivity on a busy week. It’s become a big part of how we keep recognising and uplifting each other across the company, and a daily reminder that recognition doesn’t need to wait for a review cycle.
Our values show up in the little things that create a positive and personal work culture, like how every birthday gets a handwritten card signed by everyone in the office, usually accompanied by a box of Krispy Kreme donuts (thanks Aaron!). Or how every quarter ends with a wrap-up that’s anything but ordinary, most recently, it was glow-in-the-dark mini golf, giving us a fun way to reflect, connect and celebrate together.
A Supportive, Connected Culture
In addition to high engagement scores, this year’s survey showed:
- 95% feel a strong sense of camaraderie
- 96% believe we have a caring culture
- 97% praised our hospitality and warmth
Our community has always been a standout part of StoryStream, with 2023 already showing a 97% score for “Community.” In 2025, that connection is stronger than ever. We believe a strong culture is built through shared experiences, and that means creating space for connection and joy, too. This shows in the little rituals that bring us closer:
- Brew & Banter catchups for informal connection, where one team member takes on the monthly task of bringing delicious goodies to chat over
- Beach walk 1:1s when the sun’s out
- Wellness afternoons, twice a year, to take time out and recharge
- Meeting Room 3 (a.k.a. Café Coho ☕) for creative chats and flat whites
- Pride Lunch where everyone brought a dish that felt ‘authentically you’
In our most recent all-company meeting, we hit the streets of Brighton for a team scavenger hunt. From photo challenges to creative tasks, it was a brilliant way to explore the city, strengthen our bonds, and have a laugh together (you can check out some pictures below!). These shared experiences go beyond fun, they help us connect with people we might not work with day-to-day, come up with ideas together, be creative, and just enjoy being part of a brilliant team.
What Our Team Is Saying
Several key areas maintained perfect scores, as 100% of StoryStream employees say they feel welcome when they join, and that this is a safe workplace where people are treated fairly regardless of background or identity.
Alex Vaidya, CEO and Co-founder of StoryStream, shared:
“This result reflects something we all feel at StoryStream every day: the energy, the positivity, and the genuine team spirit. Whether it’s helping each other out, encouraging new ideas, getting stuck in or celebrating the wins big and small, we’ve created a place where people back each other and want to see each other thrive. I’m proud of the openness and creativity that defines our culture.”
Aaron Olive, People and Operations Manager:
“I’m incredibly proud that we’ve been awarded the Great Place to Work accolade. This achievement reflects the dedication, passion, and unity of our entire team, and the inclusive environment we are committed to continually evolve and develop. It’s a testament to the culture we’ve nurtured, where every voice is valued and every individual feels a true sense of belonging.”
What Comes Next?
Recognition is important, and improvement is ongoing. As we continue to deliver industry-leading solutions in AI-driven product discovery, shoppable UGC, and video commerce, we’ll keep building a workplace that’s empowering, equitable, and energising.
We’re incredibly proud of this milestone and even prouder of the people who made it possible.
Let’s keep going. Let’s keep growing.
And let’s keep making StoryStream a truly great place to work, together.
